Self-designed Tumblr Layout #30daysofcreativity
Wanting to learn more about using typography purely in HTML, I decided to redesign my Tumblr layout. I had already tweaked it from a layout called Orange Peel by Space Man, but I think now I brought it far enough away that I can give it my own name, which I did: Superman Panties, because the colors remind me of the D.C. hunkster of yore.

paintin' a newsstand #30daysofcreativity
This weekend I painted a City Pages newsstand at the Stone Arch festival. The first picture features the first panel I did. The second one is the last one that I made when they kept saying “You have 5 minutes left …” and I found the cool Sharpie markers that I wish I had done the whole thing with from the get go.
Lessons learned:
